Vi bara drömde

Lena Lucky is the daughter of a Polish Jewish architect. During the 60s he was engaged in a project concerning modernization of Mongolia. Lucky met a girl there, who became her best friend. Now she returns.

Lucky’s friend, and the brother and father of the friend are still alive. But the children aren’t happy about life. Their father is looking younger than his children, although he says that he has met Stalin. This is a documentary, which turns into a small drama. It’s effective and a suggestive part is of course the old propaganda movies of the time and the amateur movies taken by Lucky’s parents.
